Better care through better information
How to improve medical care for diabetespatients traveling between the Netherlands and Marocco? The question turned out to be mainly an issue of better exchange of medical information between treating physicians in Marocco and the Netherlands because their strategies in diagnostics and treatment were basicly the same.

Discussions between Maroccan and Dutch docters resulted in an initiative to create a coordinating facility that could help to channel the proper medical information between treating physicians in both countries using the patients as the carriers of that information.
